The Best Dualtron Accessories to Upgrade in 2026

Dualtron scooters are impressive out of the box. But the right accessories transform a great scooter into your scooter — set up exactly for how and where you ride. Here are the upgrades actually worth your money in 2026, ranked by impact.

1. EY4 Display Upgrade Kit (If You're on an Older Model)

If you're running a Dualtron from before 2024, the EY4 upgrade is the single best thing you can do to your cockpit. Larger screen (4" × 2"), sunlight-readable, IPX7 waterproof, and full app integration. The MiniMotors kit includes display, throttle unit, and wiring harness. Fits Thunder, Victor, Storm, and most other Dualtron models. Fitment is about 30–45 minutes. This upgrade genuinely feels like buying a newer scooter.

2. Self-Sealing Tubeless Tyres

Standard Dualtron pneumatic tyres are good. Self-sealing tubeless tyres are better — significantly better if you ride in areas with road debris, glass, or gravel. The interior is lined with bonded sealant that plugs punctures up to 6mm automatically. You might not notice you ran over a nail until you check the tyre. The 11" self-sealing street/off-road versions offer a wider profile for improved stability. For daily commuters, this upgrade pays for itself in avoided flat repairs within the first year.

3. Nutt Hydraulic Brake Upgrade

If you're on a model with mechanical cable brakes or older hydraulic hardware, upgrading to Nutt 4-piston hydraulic brakes is a serious safety improvement. High-performance Dualtron scooters can hit 60–90 km/h — brake quality at that speed is not optional. The Thunder 3 and New Storm come with strong hydraulic brakes from the factory. If you're on a Victor or older Storm variant, this is the first upgrade to make.

4. Handlebar Accessory Bar

A dedicated aluminium accessory bar expands your mounting options significantly. Mount a phone holder, action camera, GPS unit, extra headlight, and more without clutter. The bar clamps to the stem with standard 22.2mm and 31.8mm mounting positions. For touring or long-distance riding, a proper phone mount on an accessory bar makes a real difference in stability and vibration damping.

5. Wide-Angle Convex Mirror Set

A small upgrade with an outsized safety impact. Convex mirrors with adjustable ball joints give you a much broader field of view than a flat mirror — you'll see cars and cyclists approaching from the side well before you'd otherwise notice them. If you commute in any traffic, this AU$30–$50 upgrade is genuinely important. Don't skip it.

6. Anti-Theft Lock + GPS Tracker Combo

A Dualtron scooter is a theft target. A disc brake lock and a discreet GPS tracker dramatically reduce your exposure. The EY4 app lock is a deterrent, not real security. A physical alarm lock and GPS tracker — Tile Pro, Apple AirTag with waterproof case, or Monimoto — give real coverage. Fit the GPS tracker in a location not visible from the outside.

7. Rechargeable LED Auxiliary Light

The Thunder 3's 60W factory headlight is strong, but adding a handlebar-mounted rechargeable LED gives you a second beam angle and better side-visibility coverage. Useful for off-road riding and poorly lit city streets. Look for 1000–2000 lumen range with a proper beam pattern.
