🔷 Solving Fitment Challenges for a Custom 3D LED Deck on Dualtron Ultra 2
When a Dualtron Ultra 2 rider approached us with a request for a fully custom 3D LED deck cover, we knew this wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about expression, precision, and integration.
The customer had already engaged a designer to create a base concept. From there, we stepped in to refine the design, ensuring it aligned with both the rider’s vision and the realities of production. Every curve, cutout, and LED path was adjusted to fit—not just visually, but mechanically.
🧩 Adapting for Real-World Constraints
This build came with a unique challenge: a non-standard seat post configuration. To accommodate it, we had to modify our existing deck shapes and mounting logic. That meant rethinking clearances, adjusting LED placements, and ensuring the final product would install cleanly without interfering with the seat post or wiring.
We also discussed installation steps and battery connections in detail. The customer was proactive and precise with measurements, which made the process smooth and efficient. These kinds of collaborations are what make custom work rewarding.
🎨 Design Refinement & LED Integration
Initial Concept: The customer’s designer provided a strong visual foundation.
Refinement: We adjusted the design to ensure symmetry, LED compatibility, and production feasibility.
Battery & Wiring: We selected a compact, reliable battery pack and mapped out the wiring path to avoid interference with the scooter’s frame and accessories.
Mounting Strategy: Custom cutouts and reinforced mounting points were added to accommodate the seat post and ensure long-term durability.
🌟 Final Result: A Deck That Performs and Expresses
The final product is more than a deck cover—it’s a statement. It glows with precision, fits with confidence, and reflects the rider’s personality. This is what we mean by modular customization: every detail engineered to fit, function, and express.
