LED Liner Upgrade

For safety, we recommend powering the LED liner from a small external 12V rechargeable lithium battery (not the scooter’s own battery).

3 easy steps — no soldering needed:

Cut off the small black 2-pin plug on the LED wires.

Join the colours to a round barrel connector: red to red (+), black to black (−). Twist and tape, or use a screw-on connector.

Plug into the 12V battery. Your lights come on.

Tip: If the light doesn’t turn on, the red and black wires are swapped — just switch them. Recharge the battery with its included charger when it runs low.

Powering it from the scooter’s internal battery is possible but not recommended: it means opening the deck and tapping a 12V line, and a wrong connection can damage the scooter or the LED. Contact us and we’ll help you choose a suitable battery and connector.
